Caste widening the gap between poor and rich’

The gap between the poor and the rich has been widening as a result of caste-based discrimination, said V. Lakshminarayana, a thinker associated with the Communist Party of India (Marxist), on Sunday. He was speaking after inaugurating a unit of the Dalit Hakkugala Samiti at Sigarnahalli village in Holenarasipur taluk. The Dalits residing in villages have started to fight against inequalities and atrocities in their localities.
