Campus Front demands action against Govt PU College Principal

The Udupi District unit of the Campus Front of India staged a demonstration
near the Clock Tower near the service bus stand in the town on July 17 Saturday,
demanding action against the principal of the Udupi Government Women’s Pre-
University College who, it said was indulging in widespread irregularities in the college.
The agitators also demanded action against the Deputy Director of the Pre-University
Education Department in the district for abetting with the irregularities.

An incident in which a girl from Sakleshpur who was admitted to an educational institute at Tenka Ermal, just a fortnight ago, walked out of the institute saying she could no longer stay in a place where she was harassed.
