Every mother wants her children to be hale and hearty. But what if three of her children are born disabled ? The plight of such a mother is unimaginable. Similar is the plight of Venkamma hailing from Kuriyar in Edu village of Karkala. The Venkamma and Monta Devadiga couple has a total of eight children of whom three are hearing and speech impaired. To add to the woes, even a granddaughter of Venkamma is suffering from disability. In toto, four members of this family are differently abled much to the worry of the elders in the family.
