Rumour mills are spinning that State Energy Minister and Yeddyurappa confidante Shobha Karandlaje was mainly responsible for the unprecedented political crisis that rocked the state government as well as for the strained relationship between Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda and Yeddyurappa.
Urimajalu Ram Bhat, a one-time political mentor of Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda has urged the chief minister to seek a fresh mandate by dissolving the assembly instead of giving room for more controversies.
State Energy Minister Shobha Karandlaje, it is believed, was hurling unnecessary allegations against Chief Minister DV Sadananda Gowda just because she was kept out of the Okkaliga Gowda convention held at Puttur recently and participated by Chief Minister Gowda, former CM Kumaraswamy and leaders of other parties.
