Massage centres raided ; 11 arrested for prostitution

A police team led by the Mangalore ASP Amith Kumar Singh which simultaneously raided two massage parlours at Subhashnagar near Pandeshwar and Kotekani near Urva, have arrested 11 persons on charges of indulging in prostitution.

BV See complains to Lokayukta on Shiradi Ghat condition

Karavali Ale and The Canara Times Chief BV Seetaram has lodged a complaint with the Lokayukta with regard to the pathetic state of the Shiradi Ghat section of the road on the National Highway between Mangalore and Bangalore. The complaint has been taken up for investigation.
