During his recent visit to the District Prison in Mangaluru, DGP(Prisons) Satyanarayana Rao had assured to install mobile jammers within the prison premises very soon to prevent under trials from using mobile phones. His assurance had come in the wake of the jail being witness to several clashes in the recent years and also in the wake of the more recent raid by City Police Commissioner Chandra Shekhar and his team wherein drugs and mobile phones were seized.
