The Railway Budget of this year has been a great disappointer for Mangaluru with the region getting just Rs 10 lakhs in the budget. Moreover there is no mention of anything pertaining to Mangaluru Railway Division, a longstanding demand of the region as well as regarding the development of the Mangaluru Junction (Kankanady ) railway station.
