KSRTC gearing up to beak pvt bus operators’ monopoly in Mangalore

The possibilities of the government pressing JN-NURM buses in Mangalore, Udupi and Shimoga amid opposition from private bus operators, are said to be presently high.
The KSRTC has already contacted the RTA in Mangalore as well as Udupi to permit introduction of 35 buses in both the districts under the scheme.

An incident in which DYFI activists who protested in front of the Harekala Gram Panchayat office demanding solution to some civic woes, later lodged a complaint with the police stating that the PDO was missing, took place on September 8, Monday.
