An incident wherein a poor family was driven out of its own house by a close relative by exerting his political influence, has been reported from Kotalkatte in Uliyaragoli village. However, fortunately, the family is now back in its home after JD(S) leader Deviprasad Shetty on coming to know of the plight of the family, came to its aid and himself unlocked the house, thus allowing the family to stay.
