A huge protest was staged in front of the Town Hall in Bangalore against the misdeeds of the State Minorities Development Corporation Chairman NB Aboobakker who hails from Angaragundi in Mangalore. The agitators also included several from Mangalore and Udupi. They burnt an effigy of Aboobakker and also proceeded towards the Rajbhavan in a procession and submitted a memorandum to the governor seeking action against Aboobakker for his misdeeds and criminal acts.
