PUTTUR : There was smile on the faces of BJP men of Puttur on February 19,
Saturday. Of course they had every reason to smile as State Energy Minister had finally
visited the party office on this day.Shobha who had come to Puttur to attend a programme
at Arlapadavu, directly visited the BJP office and interacted with party men.
This is her maiden visit to the Puttur BJP office after taking charge as minister. Though
Shobha had on several earlier occasions visited Puttur, she had never made it a point to
visit the party office, much to the disappointment of the party workers. In fact not even a
BJP leader had taken part in a programme at Savanoor which was attended by Shobha a
few months ago. Neither was she accorded a welcome by party men then.
However, everything seemed cooled down when Shobha arrived at the BJP office on
Saturday.
