Musical chair yet again in MUDA

MANGALORE : Musical Chair game has yet again begun for the chair of the Mangalore Urban Development Authority Commissioner. The case took an interesting turn on Wednesday, July 28, when the erstwhile MUDA Commissioner PG Ramesh arrived at the MUDA office and took charge as Commissioner in the wake of the state government order to continue in the post following a KAT stay order against his transfer.

Interestingly, Ramesh took charge even as the sitting MUDA Commissioner Madhukar Gadkar and Chairman Dr Madhava Bhandari were away.

Meanwhile, Dr Bhandari has made it clear that Gadkar himself was the MUDA Commissioner. On the other hand Gadkar has said that he would move the KAT in case he was given some other posting and transferred yet again.

This row of the senior officers has left the MUDA office staff in a piquant situation.
