PADUBIDRI: If a nation-wide bundh was observed on July 5, Monday, a cobra disrupted
traffic on the National Highway near Padubidri for some time, a day in advance, on
Sunday evening.
A snake and a mongoose were involved in a fight on the NH 17 near Padubidri. If the
mongoose soon took to its heels terrified by the sound of the vehicles, the snake chose to
remain right on the middle of the road for some time.
A car driver tried to take the snake to the roadside with the help of a stick. But no, the
adamant snake wanted to obstruct traffic and stood raising its hood. Motorists passing by
were seen capturing the scene in their mobile cameras.
