BANGALORE : A shocking news that the answer sheets of as many as 900 SSLC students are missing, has come in of late, thereby proving a great shock to the hundreds of students who have applied for revaluation or for photocopies of their answer sheets.

The SSLC results this year were declared on May 6. However several among the 30,000 students who had applied for photocopies of their mark sheets, have still not received any reply from the SSLC Examination Board. Reports say the Board officials have given a vague reply that some answer sheets were missing.

At the same time they say “We have already provided photo copies of the answer sheets to 97 per cent of the students who applied for it. The answer sheets of the rest 3 per cent of students will be sent to them shortly.”

If the Board charges Rs 700 for revaluation of the answer sheet of one subject, the fee to secure a photo copy of the answer sheet was Rs 150. Ramesh, a student of from Udupi says he could still not get the photocopy of his answer sheet despite three visits to Bangalore. The same is the case of Sriharsha who says so far there has been no reply from the Board though he had applied on May 7 itself.

They are all a worried lot as the PUC classes too have already commenced.
