Karkala : A leopard which had fallen into a well in its bid to chase a duck about a week ago, has once again landed in trouble.
If this leopard had recently fallen into the well of Gundala Anantayya Achar near here and was duly rescued with the help of a ladder and was later released in a nearby forest area, it has again invited trouble for itself.
This time in its effort to hunt some domestic animal it fell straight into an estate lake at Divyasagar of Mudradi Bakremutt in Hebri. It was later rescued by the Forest Department personnel with the help of locals.
The estate belongs to Mumbai based businessman Diwaker Shetty. The big cat has been caged and kept at the Forest Department Depot at Seetanadi.
