MANGALORE: Three bike bound assailants attacked a student of KPT in the city on Wednesday evening.
The incident took place at around 4.30 pm. It is learnt, the assailants tried to attack Taufique with their helmet. One of the assailants who fell from the bike was caught hold of by other students.The assailants it is learnt fled when an ABVP member Sooraj intervened and tried to justify the attackers.
The SFI has demanded the arrest of the accused in this case following which the police have filed a case against a few including Sooraj.
