Meanwhile, there were even rumours that the residence of former union minister Oscar Fernandes, at Brahmagiri in Udupi has been stoned. Police have provided security to the residence following the rumours.
According to one source, confusion prevailed near the residence of Oscar as one of Oscar’s staunch loyalist named Mangarama of Haryana who used to stay at Oscar’s residence in Brahmagiri whenever he came to Udupi, had come last night but on finding the gate locked had written on the wall of the compound mentioning “ Oscar Ka Bhakta Mangaram Delhi Se Aya Hai.”
The police on noticing the writing came to the conclusion that activists of some organization might have written this and this resulted in the rumour, says Dinesh Putran, a close aide of Oscar. He also clarified that Oscar’s residence has not been stoned.
