Vehicle jatha by CPIM on Dec 21,22

MANGALORE : The CPIM city unit will be taking out a vehicle jatha throughout the city on December 21 and 22 in protest against the price rise and demanding ration card to all and also to provide 35 kgs of rice at Rs 2 per kg to every card holder.
In a press communique, Sunil Kumar Bajal, CPIM city unit Secretary, said the Union and State Governments had spoiled the entire public distribution system and described the present system of distributing APL and BPL cards as unscientific.
The jatha which would be inaugurated near Central Market on December 21 at 10 am will conclude at Panjimogaru on December 22 at 8 pm.
