KUNDAPUR : There are many people in the society who enjoy contributing their little bit in defiling or spoiling the beauty of things around them. The state of the currency of Rs 10 denomination shown in a photograph here, is the result of the handiwork of some such people. One can see the portrait of the Father of the Nation in this currency tarnished using a whitener ( a chemical solution to erase writings in ink). This currency came into the hands of Shankeracharya, newspaper agent and book seller of Kundapur, through a customer.
