MANGALORE : If the attack on the partying youngsters at Morning Mist Home Stay invited condemnations galore from all over the state, surprisingly, hundreds of men and women of the locality defended the raid while condemning the police for their inaction “Our three earlier complaints to the Kankanady police had been futile,” they expressed their anguish.

Some women were even heard saying “ Never mind if the youngsters were attacked. We will not encourage such acts of taking to drugs and engaging in immoral activities by joining with men of other communities.”
