What led to DV’s exit?

PUTTUR : Even as Jagadish Shettar takes over as the new Chief Minister of Karnataka, questions persist as to what eventually led to the abrupt exit of DV Sadananda Gowda ? Speculations are rife in this regard, particularly in his hometown and home constituency.

Sometime back when DVS had participated in a religious ritual in his hometown, his Mane Daiva had assured him that he would complete his full term. Today, people of his home town are wondering what went wrong leading to DV’s exit well before the completion of the tenure of the BJP government.

During the Annual Kola or Nemotsava held at Sadananda Gowda’s hometown of Devaragunda, the Daiva had then promised that its blessings would be with him always. Now that Gowda has quit the CM post well before completion of one year in office, people are wondering if the Daiva’s ire was responsible for all this.

Incidentally, during every visit to Puttur, DV never failed to visit the Sri Mahalingeshwara Temple and offer his prayers. Just about a month ago, he had offered special pooja at the temple along with his family. Within three days of DV’s visit, Shobha was at the temple to offer special prayers for some unknown reasons. It is nothing but a surprise that DV had to face hurdles within one month after offering special pooja. What was the harake which Shobha might have offered? People of DV’s hometown are now wondering.

There are even allegations that DV was forced to exit as he had failed to act to the tunes of the RSS dictats. There is also a rumour that the party may deny DV a ticket to contest from Puttur during the next assembly election. There is even a chance of him getting ticket from some constituency where the BJP has less chances of winning. At the same time there is also no denying that one group of the BJP in the district had joined hands with Yeddy eventually paving way for DVS exit.
