MANGALORE : The State Backward Classes Awareness Forum and Dalits, Backward Classes and Minorities Samanvaya Vedike has strongly opposed the suggestion of Pejawar Sri Vishwesha Theertha Swamiji to continue Made Snana rituals with some changes.

KS Shivaram of the Hindulida Vargagala Jagrithi Vedike has said that continuing Made Snana in any form will have no scientific basis.

It may be recalled here that at a debate on Made Snana ritual held at Subrahamanya recently, the seer had suggested continuing of the practice with some changes.
