KUNDAPUR : A mentally ill man caused some anxious moments when he all of a sudden climbed a coconut tree and refused to come down.

It is learnt, the man of Kerala origin did so after he was reprimanded by a local shop keeper for misplacing a salt bag from the shop and keeping it right on the middle of the road. The man has been camping near Trasi bypass since some days.

When repeated requests asking him to come down failed to get any response, the fire service personnel were informed and they were finally successful in bringing him down.
