Cattle head in Panja sets off speculations

SULLIA : A cattle head was found on the roadside at Karikalla in Panja village of the taluk, setting off speculations.

The torso of the cattle was found decomposed, while only the head was recognizable. The entire area, it is learnt, was stinking. Though there is a suspicion that the cow might have died in an accident, the exact cause of its death is not known.

Some even have a suspicion that the cow might have been slaughtered elsewhere and the body dumped here. As news spread like wild fire, a lot of people gathered and the Subrahamanya police rushed to the spot. Investigations are under progress.
