MOODBIDRI : M Bahubali Prasad, President of the Moodbidri Town Development Authority, has alleged that the TMC was neglecting the developmental works in the municipal limits.

Speaking to reporters here, he said the TMC has not initiated any step to construct side drains even two years after the traders voluntarily let their land for road widening. This despite the then DC directing the TMC to construct side drains within three months of the traders letting the land. However, in Karkala and Puttur, the TMCs there had ensured steps towards construction of side drains, he added.

He also drew the attention of the TMC towards the clogged drains in several places and accused that the TMC has failed to initiate any step towards clearing the clogged drains..
