MANGALORE: The condition of the BC Road-Vamadapadavu-Naravi Road is said to be in a
bad shape posing much problems to motorists and pedestrians alike.
Locals complain that it has been years since this road was bituminized. They also blame the
apathy of the local elected representatives for the same. The absence of proper side drains here
has led to the flow of water from high level areas, on the middle of the road itself. This has only
added to the problems on this road which is ridden by potholes.
The road comes under the Pilatabettu GP limits and even the ZP members have been accused of
doing nothing to improve the condition of this road.
