MANGALORE : “The State BJP has suffered much damage already. This damage is permanent. This incident will be a major blow to CM Yaddyurappa and the reason for this latest development is the fact that the CM was unduly relying on the Reddy brothers.” Such a strong comment has come in from the rebel BJP leader and Swabhimani Vedike Founder Ram Bhat.
” The present crisis which the CM is facing is mainly owing to the belief of the BJP leaders that they can achieve anything through corrupt means. After all how many days can a government which lacks a foundation, survive ?,” questioned Ram Bhat.
Speaking to pressmen, Bhat said he had warned several times earlier that the company of Reddy brothers would prove detrimental to the party and that they would surely drag everyone’s feet once their objective was realised.
Bhat also had to make a comment on Shobha Karandlaje. ” The CM is giving undue importance to Shobha. Or else what was the necessity for the CM to take Shobha along with him during the floods to Mantralaya ?” he questioned.

” When the state was reeling under floods, the CM was accepting the crown from the KMF at Tumkur. Now his own team (Reddy) is demanding his chair, this is an anticipated development, ” Bhat further said.
The people of the state have now realised that voting the BJP to power would not yield any result, except increasing corruption and foul play for the sake of power. On the demand of the dissidents to have Jagadish Shettar as the CM, Bhat said even if Shettar occupies the position, he cannot last too long as the Reddys would wait for the right time to even turn up against him.
